Custom Tailoring by Fernando is a small shop on the south side of Washington Blvd, run by Fernando and his wife Bella. Most of the work is suiting — fits, take-ins, sleeve work — but they take everything from bridal alterations to instrument-case covers.
Fernando does most of the suit work. He's the one who'll explain what a jacket can and can't do, mark the chalk lines, and walk you through fitting. Bella manages the front, handles measurements, and takes the everyday pieces — hems, repairs, button work, the steady stream of routine jobs that keep the shop running.
What regulars say, more than anything, is that the work comes back the way you wanted.
